Start planning your summer field trips today!

This summer, the Canisius College Ambassadors for Conservation (CAC) program will be hosting free field trips at the Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge (INWR). 

Children ages 4-13 will learn about the outdoors at one of Western New York’s natural treasures.  Located about 40 minutes from Buffalo, the INWR is home to many species of wildlife.  Guided by our CACs, children learn to explore and appreciate the wonders of wetland ecology. 

Field trips will run from June 25 through August 24, 2012.  There is no charge for the trip, but transportation is not provided and children are asked to bring a bag lunch.  There is an outdoor picnic area and an indoor sitting area for lunch.
