We’ve been working hard to make child care funding a priority in New York State, and two legislators have stepped up to the plate to start that process. Assemblywoman Jaffee and Senator Avella both have proposed bills to create a taskforce to evaluate the need for and availability of child care. While this is just the first step on a long road, we fully support this taskforce – and we’d like your support too.

If you own or operate a child care program, own a small business, or are part of an organization who would like to back the idea of this taskforce, please complete the sections in the form below, place on your organization's letterhead if possible, and add your signature. It should take no more than 3 minutes of your time, but will have a huge impact as we all stand together and demand more for the families and children of Western New York. Please return completed forms to Courtney at cgfroerer@wnychildren.org no later than this Friday, June 2.
