There are two levels of reimbursement rates; Tier I and Tier II.  These rates are determined for each provider by the area lived in or by income level.  The provider is reimbursed by the number of meals served to each child enrolled.  Each child will need to be enrolled by completing and submitting an Enrollment Form to the sponsor.  When providers serve the required meal components at each meal service, they will be reimbursed per meal per child.

It is the provider's responsibility to offer food components meeting guidelines at each meal service.  It is the child's responsibility to make choices based on the components that are offered.  A child should never be forced to eat.  By offering nutritional choices, we teach children how to eat well for life.
