Health & Safety Grant for Legally Exempt Providers
The purpose of this grant is to support legally exempt child care providers to comply with the New York State Office of Children and Family Services Legally Exempt Child Care Health and Safety Requirements. The grant consists of, but is not limited to, a portable first aid kit, electrical outlet covers and a smoke detector. Announcing a new funding opportunity
Quailty Care Program Grant for Quality Improvement
Child Care Resource Network has funding to provide free program support to a limited number of center, family, group family and school age child care programs in Erie County. If chosen the service will include:
* environmental Rating Scale assessment
* one on one program support with an Education Specialist
* training relevant to the needs of your program
Child care programs must be willing to participate in 25 to 30 hours of program support, work with an Education Specialist to set goals toward improving the quality of your program and participation in the specified training.
Eligible child care programs must be licensed or registered.
Priority will be given to programs that have 25 percent of their child care slots committed to subsidized children and new programs operating within the first two years of licensure; and not eligible for participation in QUALITYstarsNY.
