Week of the Young Child 2016


April 11: Music & Movement Monday

Kick-off Week of the Young Child at the Boulevard Mall at 10:30 a.m. where we will make music, dance, and move like animals with activities sponsored by Exercise Like The Animals. We will be in the center of the mall near the fountain.

April 12: Taco Tuesday

Join us at 11 a.m. at the Downtown Central Library to make tacos and read, "Dragons Love Tacos," by Adam Rubin. Children in attendance will receive a free book donated by Project Flight.

April 13: Work Together Wednesday

Join us at the Hamburg Public Library to learn about working together and teamwork at 11 a.m. We will read "Frederick," by Leo Lionni and participate in fun teamwork activities presented by JumpBunch of WNY.

April 14: Artsy Thursday

Join us at the Lackawanna Library to learn about and create art at 10:30 a.m. We will read "It Looked Like Spilt Milk," by Charles G. Shaw, snack on milk and cookies, and create open-ended art.

April 15: Family Friday

Join us at the Audubon Library for Family Friday at 11 a.m. We will read "Owl Babies," by Martin Waddell and share stories about our own families.
