Children love using blocks to build tall towers, houses, bridges or whatever else their imagination can create. But why is block play so important to children's learning? When children build with blocks it can actually increase their understanding of shapes, numbers, measurement, and math concepts. This training will guide you through your role in promoting meaningful block play and provide you with some hands-on activities to enhance this popular play area by comining it with dramatic play.
