Sponsored by the WNY Infant Toddler Resource Network, Caring Spaces is a three-phased process to measuring quality in infant and toddler programs. It evaluates the chidl care provider's ability to provide an open environment, responsive caregiving, and age-appropriate materials and experiences. It can be used as both a self-assessment tool or the program can choose to go through the endorsement process in partnership with an Infant Toddler specialist. The Caring Spaces Endorsement can be earned by a Family Day Care, Group Family Day Care, or Day Care Center's Infant and Toddler classroom(s).
