Special Needs in Child Care

Early childhood providers are seeing more children with special needs in their programs and this can present new challenges for everyone. In this training participants will learn basic terminology and the legal requirements for including children with special needs. The referral process a will be discussed, and best practices strategies for planning activities, making accommodations, and developing a partnership with service providers will be identified.
