Birth to age three are the most significant years in a child’s development. These years set the stage for lifelong learning, development, and relationship-forming.

Child Care Resource Network is the lead agency for two multi-county projects designed to meet the specific needs of infants, toddlers, and those who care for them. Funded by NYS Office of Child and Family Services, Infant Toddler Specialists and Infant Toddler Mental Health Consultants provide training, coaching, resource sharing, and Infant Toddler Mental Health Consultation across Erie, Niagara, Orleans, Genesee, Wyoming, Allegany, Cattaraugus, and Chautauqua counties.

How to begin the process and what to expect when you call:

  • The ITMHC will complete an intake form and discuss specific needs and concerns
  • ITMHC will set up an appointment to meet and review agreement forms
  • ITMHC consultation will begin with an overall classroom/program observation and assessment
  • The ITMHC main objective is to provide early intervention by supporting the early childhood educator (provider), so your goals will be tailored to the specific needs of your classroom/program.
