Updated Mask Wearing Requirements from OCFS effective 3/2/22

Effective Marc 2, 2022, OCFS is no longer requiring that masks be work in your child care program. You may continue to require masks and children or staff should continue to be encouraged to wear a mask if they prefer to do so. Please review section A of the most recent Dear Provider letter for full details.

Free COVID-19 At Home Test Kit Distribution Days:

Erie County Department of Health and the Office of Children & Family Services (OCFS) have provided at home COVID-19 tests for child care providers of all modalities. Below please find the upcoming distribution dates:

Legally Exempt Providers: January 25th & January 27th (for questions about the LE distribution please contact Jemima at 716-877-6666 ext. 3032)

Day Care Centers & School-Age Providers: Wednesday February 2nd from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Group Family & Family Providers: Saturday February 5th 10a.m. – 2 p.m.
